I can understand and sympathize with original amp enthusiasts but if you aren’t buying this out of fear of losing that authentic Wurlitzer sound, don’t! My piano has all of the charm and growl it used to but is now dead silent, has more volume - even the high octaves that used to be very quiet are much louder and I haven’t even adjusted the voicing or action yet. You guys knocked it out of the park again with this one, expect more orders in the near future!

I'm beyond happy with this kit from vintage vibe. I have a wurlitzer 214 with the console still attached that had been working for years without issue. Then one day it just completely died. The fuses were fine, just no sound of any kind. I bought and installed this amp board and performed all of the various mods (twisting the transformer wires, etc.) and my wurlitzer is working and sounds better than ever. There is no hum whatsoever and the tone sounds clearer to me, especially the bass notes. Even though the documentation says there is no support for the console models, I'm using the console speakers without any issues. I would buy this kit again and would recommend it to anyone else with amp board woes.

Incredibly sharp, clean and easy to handle
I have recently installed on the back of my Wurlitzer 106 an extra chip for the fx loop (with the precious help of Fred DiLeone), which makes pedals way more manageable and resolves any hot signal related problems.

I'd repaired and rebuilt the original amp on my 200, but it was still just as noisy and cranky as ever. The VV amp is great - relatively easy to install, very well behaved, sounds great.

There's a bit of hassle installing the FX loop jack, because there wasn't a hole there originally, but not super difficult.

Absolutely brilliant. To have an instrument for probably twenty five years and never knowing what weird sounds it was going to make when you really needed it to now being ultra reliable, quiet and versatile too just makes me want to play it all the time. Instructions were easy to follow and well thought out so nothing to report other than it worked first time, the adjustable vibrato is so simple but a genius idea in terms of use and keeping the visuals stock looking. At first changeover I'd say the new amp was slightly mellower through the internal speakers than before (mine was quite aggressive sounding) but really not a bad thing, just sounds way more balanced and usable. Through an external amp is just phenomenal, no noise, just complete warmth and bark when you need it. I love it. Congratulations!
