I had to install 3 new wire contacts on a Compact Duo, two on the 2 & 2/3 card(5th card back). I wouldn't have know how to do it without this video. (nearly impossible to do). The video states its like playing the old game of Operation, I think it is more like getting past a red laser security system protecting the crown jewels.
Allthough all my dividers are working, it was still beneficial to watch the tone generator cards being checked in the video.
I recently purchased an excellent cosmetic condition partialy working Compact Deluxe. I'm planning on replacing the P.S. capacitors for starters. This too was gone over in the video. I already replaced both ECC83 tubes where one was bad, cleaned out a mouse nest and reconnected a bunch of broken wires. That wasn't in the Video.

A wide range of garfish and problems covered. If I was to be critical And they don’t intend to be because I really thought this was worth the money it does not give you much on the complexity of the dual manuals of the compact duo. It does talk a lot about the reverb system but the physical structure of working with the double manual would be helpful. That said the principles are exactly the same as a single manual compact so it is useful.
